I'm running because I believe Georgians want a government that delivers what it promises and doesn't waste their money. They want serious, dependable leaders with experience they trust…especially in important offices like the Secretary of State.

The Secretary of State's office regulates elections, corporate registrations, and securities transactions among many things. Basically, it runs many of the important business functions of state government. And I will run it like a business.

In these difficult times, every penny counts, every job matters. Georgians deserve leadership that will keep reforming government, keep cutting costs, and keep pushing for new jobs.

I'm a family man. I've started and run small businesses so I know how licensing and regulations impact the businesses that create jobs in our state. In the Senate, I earned a reputation for cutting red tape, promoting small business growth, and reducing government waste. I'm ready to lead and deliver on day one!

Karen Handel has done a great job reforming this office, and I will continue her reforms. I will also transform the Secretary of State's office into a partner with the Governor and Economic Development leaders to help create new jobs and support small businesses across the state.
