Brian Kemp

Brian Kemp | Decisive Leader

Some of us will do our jobs well and some will not, but we will be judged by only one thing. the result. - Vince Lombardi

As a small business owner, widely respected former State Senator, and with his track record in the Senate of cutting red tape, promoting small business growth, and reducing government waste, Brian Kemp is the ideal candidate for this vital office.

During his service in the State Senate, Brian Kemp earned a reputation as one of the hardest working and most effective Senators at the State Capitol. Among his many accomplishments, he boldly led efforts to cut wasteful spending and streamline government, cut red tape and support small business growth, protect the HOPE Scholarship, preserve our water resources and greenspace, and promote early learning efforts.

Highly regarded in the Senate, Kemp served in key committee leadership roles including Chair of Public Safety & Homeland Security, Vice-Chair of Higher Education, and Secretary of Agriculture & Consumer Affairs. He also served as a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Kemp served in the Georgia State Senate from 2002-2006 having defeated a Democrat incumbent in one of the most challenging political environments for Republicans in the state. In 2006, Kemp sought the Republican nomination for Agriculture Commissioner. Over the course of that campaign, he raised over $800,000 and built a statewide network of over 300 elected Republican officials and hundreds of grassroots leaders.

Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers echoed the thoughts of many Republican leaders when he recently said, "Brian Kemp is a conservative Republican leader with broad appeal across our state. His professional background makes him the best qualified candidate for this seat. He will make Republicans and all Georgians proud in this vital office."
